Anyway... today was like damn busy at the "store". ALOT of parents. Wah I realise the parents there like all those "higher society" wan. Go registration need wear dresses and pearl necklaces and wat sunglasses and donno wat.
And also, they very "academic" leh. Study sec 3/4 Chem and Phy. Sec 1/2 math and all that. But they don't take D&T and Home econs... SO WEIRD! This girl I met there which also working lah (somewhat like colleague?) she was saying no wonder they score so well lah! Read all this...

Well, one other thing. They don nid to buy BIO tb???? But Phy and Chem are like compulsory? Omg... So sad leh. (for me) cus like... I like bio! lol. So bad wan discrimination!! (jkjk...)

RGS Popular
Today went to Raffles Girls Sec Sch (RGS) there de Popular bookshop to help out with the Sec 1 buying books and stuff lah.
Went with Pearlyn and Nicole.
Then we realised... why the other people like all know each other wan??? LOL.
Felt so extra but yea...
Anyway, basically manual labour. Carry textbooks move to this place, put down. Carry bundles of stuff bring to this place, put down. ect.
Tml then is the orientation thingy where the sec 1s buy books.
Btw popular bkstore so high tech wan. Got use cash register at each counter. Our sch the Trimac only use like what calculator. Anyway, learnt how to use cash register even tho I'm not gonna use it tml... lol. Don't like resposibility of handling money when there are sec1s and their protective parents ard...
Anyway, RGS IS HUGE!!! Much bigger than... than... St. Marg's. lol. Have both pros and cons I guess. but really leh... huge. Got the... those english-y sch feel.
Btw came back, bathed used 30mins to continue with my puzzle. I realised I'm quuuuite good at this stuff! lol. Now already have around 200 pieces down. And it's only how long? lol. 100 more to go! (and it's the difficult part -all almost the same colour- blue...)

Anyway, I just bought a 300 piece puzzle of his fantasy art! it's this...
I think the 1000 piece wan is nicer... sigh... but no money so 300 piece lo. It's like 38cm x 26cm.
Bought the frame as well cus if buy tgt got discount... (There's a place I know that sells frames cheaper but then the size I have to find... then lazy... then discount... so okay lah buy...)
Btw... lol. no back letters cus it's 300 piece. SADD... BUT test my brain power more I guess... I should have bought a puzzle with MORE different colours... This one is all blue and white... my eyes wan die.
Just managed to do the whole border ( 1 tile cus its the easiest part) Hair of the girl clutching the book, the face and hand of the lady on top (seperately cus I have difficulty with her body) and 1/4 of the piano. (had the keyboard and pedal done oni) Well, I have till sch reopen!
So since I have no work (other than the RGS thing) I'll scrutinize and do it... (since I spent gd $$ on it too.

Past Future
Amuro Namie is having a new album real real real soon (16/12/09 if I din get it wrong! I abit slow to post)
Suddenly posting after info of it came out since damn long ago because of all the previews and stuff!
Think I'm gonna LOVE the new album! And isn't the name cool? lol.
The album is kinda cool. I wanted to type out the title... but blogger keeps saying the tag is wrong and all that becuase of the crocodile sign. (if u get wat I mean...)

Btw I find the advertising campaign pretty cool! lol.

She says that she wants to take it back to the beginning and sorta refresh her career.

Claire's farewell sleepover!

Well, yesterday went to Ai's hse after borrowing cups and getting some candles from Jing Ying.
Then went to Ai's hse.
Slacked ard... then went to carpark the top level to set up the candles thingy.
Ok... at first there was like... alot of wind... then we couldn't seem to light up a single candle! But after looking for almost any spot on the top level, we managed to find a spot with relatively less wind... Then as we tried more candles... the wind ceased abit. So yea...
We made like a star shape on the floor (ITS NOT EASY I TELL U) those dramas make it seem so easy... BUT IT IS NOT!
Anyway, yea and we made claire's name in the middle of the huge star. muahahaha! Then put some candles in the cups with coloured water (YZJ bought orange flavouring thingy instead of merely colouring... SO the water smelt like orange juice and looked like it too)
Then we held them and awaited Claire's arrival into the carpark blindfolded.
Yea... Then we sing song. lol. Some weird song which I din really like but lyrics were pretty meaningful. lol.
Claire gave speech (really short one) and we joke ard abit and cleared up.
Went to Ai's hse to EAT. We ate like... loads... lol.
Then played indian poker, slave, dummy (card games).
I like indian poker... lol. And learnt dummy from Ai. It's cool! I like it. It like tests your intellect and stuff but not stressful. Snap is just plain stressful. lol.
Slept over. Drank shots as punishment for slave. Then some slept while some continued playing (I played... lol)
Never sleep can... wan die le. (I think I slept awhile on Ai's bed and sam also. Ai slept on the floorat the same time...Then Cassandra and Joanne slept pretty early? which is still pretty late but like earlier than all us no sleepers.)

Today went to Ngee Ann poly with Joanne.
Supposedly we were to go for a job interview with the help of Joanne's mum. But... well... things din go as plan. (our feelings were cheated!)
Yea. sad.
Then I called the clinic near my hse if they were hiring. HOPE they call me back.
Like always they lke to say will call u back but donno when they will or IF they will...
Sigh. nvm lah. If can't find job... at least... i DONNO AT LEAST what seriously...

Cousin's wedding dinner
Went to msia yesterday for cousin's wedding. (Well, it's kinda like only the dinner)
Cus we could not make it in time for the ceremony thingy b4 that (bro had driving thing)
Anyway, personally I found it quite boring. Cus like quite traditional in a restaurant, eat, pour champagne, cut cake.
No games, no pranks.... lol.
And well, we were seated in front of the huge speaker (only had 2 for the whole ballroom) and had to listen to horrid karaoke-ing by uncles and guys who think they can sing... Mostly hokkien songs.
Well, some uncles can sing. BUT wah liao the young ones ah... THINk they can sing only.
Especially this guy, last one to go one stage for last song. Then he sang Yue Ding by Guang Liang right. Then wow I actually heard this chinese song b4. And I couldn't even recognise it when he sang. It was off tune, nasal, blehh... Ok I quite bad. But I should have the right to be right? Sitting infront of a blasting speaker with males (seriosuly no females sang) shouting/ screaming their lungs out.
sigh.
And my brother was telling me abt the wedding he took photo for last time. Like damn cool like that. They had this car park infront of the restaurant with the boot pointing into the restaurant. And then in the boot is like... those damn hiong speakers and they blast clubbing music. And you can actually dance to it in the ballroom (cus it's loud enough). And they had games and pranks.
My mum was saying cus that's sg style. But it's also held in msia. (either the groom or bride's from sg and the other is from msia) So... lol.
Oh btw... the food sucked as well. Seriously... The prawns were tasteless and sooo NOT fresh. Then the mushrooms were hard like shyt ect.
Garr... Had to stay over in msia cus it was pretty late. So only came back to sg at noon today. Had diahorea (is this how to spell? cus I oni noe american spelling is like "diarrhea") when in the car. I tell you horrible feeling. Donno what I ate...
Mum having diahorea now... lol. Must be sth we ate and NOT just me. lol.

Had band grad nite in hall! Theme was masquerade.
Pics... I nva took any cus too lazy to.
Plus the hall's really dark. They wanted to make it more romantic so yea had candles on the table and stuff. Anyway, was pretty cool.
A lil boring at some parts but I mean... its grad nite... what can they do right?
My section's tribute was kinda nice. lol. Cus I could understand what they were saying unlike the other years... (when I was one of those doing tribute)

Phuket Trip '09
Went to Phuket with Nerissa, Annabella, Ai and Joanne on 24 nov and returned today!
Really fun trip lah~! Loads of shopping and eating and playing and sleeping as well~

DAY 1
Dad drove me to Changi Airport and obviously... met up with Nerissa, Anna, Joanne and Ai and
took plane to Phuket International Airport!
Met up with Ai's dad and driver at the airport and was driven to Ai's hse. I LIKE HER HOUSE!!! Anyway, unpacked our stuff a lil at Ai's rm. (her rm's big) and everyone choked which bed they wanna sleep on.
She has a poodle hybrid called... what was it called again? But It's cute and likes to lick me and even pounced on me...
After that, went to the Seashell Museum after stopping by a temple and had loads of fun!

Well, we bought some sovenirs (I didn't) and took car again to some beachy cliff place to watch the lovely sunset in Phuket. Loads of tourists there. The driver (I can't remember names) took random pics... lol. It's quite weird looking.
Look at Nerissa! so stylo. lol.
After that, (I don need to keep saying take car right?) went to this Dinosaur themed restaurant called Dino Park. It's really damn cool lah. Then ate loads and loads. I had this black pepper grilled salmon thing and I think most of the others had some sorta pasta? Not too sure cus quite long ago. And since the restaurant is like outdoor and dark (at night mah) so couldn't really take pics with my lousy cam.

According to Ai's mum, Steven Spielberg "collaborated" with some person to open this restaurant. AND the revenue is like... LOADS LOADS LOADS! Can't remember the exact amnt I was told by Ai tho.
Anyway, yum.
Then after eating, we played Dino Minigolf at the restaurant. It was paid for by the owner of the place cus he's a good fren of Ai's dad and stuff. Had loads of fun there but was beat by the end of 18 holes... We're old liao le lah...
The scenery was really nice but could not capture much on cam cus low batt... My cam's batt sucks like hell. so sad lo...
Got some water water place that u have to make sure the golf ball is hit ACROSS a bridge leh. Then like have reddish cave with water spilling in from some parts and Greenish caves and dinosaur "nets" and stuff. SO COOL!
Ok, after tiring ourselves out for the day, went to Ai's home and slept like a... umm... a... pig?

DAY 2
Had breakfast at Ai's home
then took a long long drive to Krabi province then went to this place where the river connects with the sea. Really cool. The water has like blues and greens and the trees have pneumatophores! lol. bio...
Then went to eat this cool Thai restaurant. There's this veg thing tats supposed to be from the forest or sth then it was cooked with minced meat and was SUPER SPICY!!! couldn't take it and kept eating omelette to tone down the spicyness.
Yum tho.
After that went to Emerald Pool. It's like a waterfallish place. Had to walk like donno how long to reach the place tho. But it was really lovely~ The rocks are covered with algae tho. Super smooth and slimy.

Evening, we went to Sawaddee Lagoon to have dinner and Ai's dad left us. Anyway he took all the nicer photos... so sad right my photos so sucky. Anyway, ate some fish and prawns and some thai soup thing. Nice! All the food like yummy wan...

Well, the lagoon is like a camping resort. lol. At first Ai said camp site but like it's so high class to be a camp site! The tents have bed in them~ Well we slept in the rooms cus they have no guests that day. (It's a really ulu place beside a rubber plantation)
Played cards as usual.
DAY 3
Was at Swaddee Lagoon so woke up there. went to cycle to the rubber plantation to look look. Pics from this day onwards are mostly with Nerissa cus I din bring my cam out in case it got wet and stuff (Nerissa's cam is waterproof)
Then after getting eaten alive by fiersome mosquitos, we had our last actual bath in 2 days and left for Ao-Yon Phuket.
Packed stuff at Ai's house and went onto Ai's dad's sailing yacht called Singa Besar (Big lion). Her dad can like "drive" it and stuff. And it's like the Venice great galleys cus if runs on sail and motor... lol.
(Too much mugging...)
Ai's cousin, Pi Earn (Pi is like something you use to address ppl like... -chan!)
Was on the yacht for ard 2 hrs and were taught how to use the toilet and cups and stuff or just simply enjoyed the wind (whereas Ai slept) and reached RaYa island.
Ate sandwiches and stuff prepared by Pi Earn who like owns a restaurant. Anyway, anything is nice when yr hungry and we were like hungry like... like... mosquitos? lol.
Then went snorkeling (me and Joanne din use the gear cus we felt like we were gonna die...) So we just used our own goggles and swam in the see to see the fishies and corals and stuff.
Pretty fun! Salt water stings our throats tho.
Joanne so poor thing nva eat anything also don feel hungry. Then we brought her to lie on the deck (isit called this? it's like the top of the yacht) to let the wind blow and let her emo. While we ate snacks...
Drank 2 glasses and fell asleep on the sitting place.
The wine was in a bag leh! cool right? Not bottle but like a blood bag sorta thing with a nozzle at the bottom which has a tap
Btw, Ai's driver caught 30+ fishes??? CRAZY like wat??
Had breakfast on Singa Besar. They had LOADS of food. (which we finished by day 5. opps.) Then island hopped to Hae island, Load Island, Narn island to swim and snorkle and play with sand. okay... ate lunch on the yacht. (PRAWNS that were boiled? that tasted yum~) and when we went snorkling could throw some prawn shells into the sea and the fishies will all gather to eat the prawn shell! Then we managed to catch one fish only to let it go again.

Then went to Loan island which is like Ai's dad's company's private beach and Kayaked! Me and Joanne in one kayak and Nerissa and Anna in another. Ai just lazed on the beach posing like a supermodel. LOL.

Kayaked like siao. Went damn far. While Nerissa and Anna were relaxed and looking at scenery, Joanne and I were like damn hiong can? We were like...

After kayaking and bathing, had BBQ dinner! (I din bbq, Pi Earn and another lady did) WAS SOOO GOOOOOD! Ate some of the fish that was caught on the boat the prev day and I was forced to eat LOADS of tomatoes by Anna and Nerissa cus well... I accidentally said I liked tomatoes and there were alot left...

Anyway, after the yum yum dinner, went into the room and drank wine while enjoying Zoro II on was it HBO? yea. Then Ai's dad's was it frens? stopped over at the island to have dinner. They were sailing for 3 days, 3 nights from singapore leh!! whoa!
Alot of angmohs from different countries like Holland, or elsewhere. Then they caught this HUGE FISH! HUGE!
Continued watching Zoro after that and went to sleep in tents! :)
It's so much more comfortable than Sec 3 camp! There are MATRESSES and PILLOWS and Sleeping bags and an actual "floor".
Slept the night away.
DAY 5
Had breakfast at Loan Island and... finished their food... really... We eat too much man... Supposedly can last for quite some time wan...
This cat also pounced on me. Why do pets like to do that to me?
Sailed back to Ao-Yon Phuket (20mins?) then was picked up by another driver. Had lunch at this local food store sorta place where most of us ate Tom Yam Noodles. NICE.
The food's all pretty little tho. So like felt sooo tempted to eat 2 bowls.
Oyster farm thing
Went back to Ai's house and dumped the dirty clothes to be washed. Anna and Nerissa hung out downstairs (I donno wat they did) whereas Ai slept. Joanne read Kindaichi Case Files while I watched movie on Ai's laptop.
FYI, we were all reading Kindaichi case files throughout the whole trip (their Ai's) Its a manga that is about a teenage guy that is great at solving murder cases. I am so pro at guessing who the murderer is! muahahahax!
Anyway, slacked. Then in the evening, Pi Earn drove us to her restaurant where we ate tiger prawns and some thai dishes (cant remember names) and some vege roll thing ect. Everyone drank Mai Tai (a type of cocktail) which was YUM YUM! Drank in small glasses. Joanne drank soo little can? like 2 glasses? And her face was all red! But now she chao da (cus of the sun on the yacht) so not as obvious as when we drank on the sleepover.
We walked ard the beach only to be splashed by crashing waves and after washing our feet and HIGHING (we started dancing and singing and laughing) Pi Earn drove us to Patong.
Patong is like a night life place with loads of pubs and tourists and transvestites and shops. Walked around there and was pretty sad we were not of age to go into pubs. 2 MORE YEARS. Well, the live bands sounded real cool!
Anyway we spent most of our time there choosing and buying pirated dvds... I mean... Anna bought like 40plus dollars SING in pirated DVDS! And one disc was sold at 60baht! Which is like... $2.50 rounded off. wow...
Ok... spent like really damn long there. They had this private room of their secret stash of pirated dvds. lol. You name it, they got it. (except for jpnese/korean shows ect lah)
DAY 6
Was so freaking tired so decided to sleep in. Actually supposed to wake up at 8am (cus Ai's mum's definition of sleeping in) but overslept till like... real late like... 11am...
Ate brunch at this noodle place and like we were damn hungry so all ate 2 bowls of noodles except for Anna and Joanne. (we eat too much...)
Btw ard these last few days have almost no pics cus we merely shop and shop and eat and shop and sleep. Get it?
Went for a drive around town but... well, all except me and Joanne slept. lol. Joanne and I were chatting so yea... nva sleep and we were like "I thought we're supposed to look around town? why everyone sleeping?" lol
Then reached the beach weekend market at ard 3pm. Shopped like no tomorrow... Anna and Nerissa was so scary! They bought loads and loads of stuff! Cus stuff were mostly priced at like 100 baht each or 199 baht each for the apparels.
Only could shop for 2 hrs and it left us begging for more. (mostly Nerissa and Anna) and we left. It really felt like an extremelly short time tho...
Went back to Ai's home for a "party" sorta thing. We were shown the photos Ai's dad took of us on the yacht and stuff. And had a BBQ in their backyard! YUMMY bbq ribs and mashed potato that tastes like it has cheese and also brocolli, carrots, and super yum garlic bread!
Totally awesome dinner. ate like no tomorrow. Then suddenly there's some thai dessert that has glutinous rice and some other stuff. If that wasnot enough, there's still fruits! Jackfruit, Watermelon, Guava ect. STUFFED LIKE ... a balloon!
Then they had this dried squid which they grilled and used this twirling thing (looks like sugarcane juicer) to squash it flat flat. Then we dipped it in some sweetish sauce and YUM! lol.
Too much food. And I taught I was gonna gain a kg or reach 40kg FINALLY but today morn I weighed myself and am STILL in the 39-40kg zone. 39.7kg... since sec 1 or 2 I've been in this ZONE leh! When can I reach 40kg???
sigh... Anyway, fun.
DAY 7
Ok last day le. din wake up early also... Even tho we wanted to wake up at like... 6am to go shopping... I know we're crazy ppl. Shopaholics.
Anyway, went to the EXPO (which is totally NOT like sg's one). It's like an area filled with stalls almost like the weekend market but is more expensive and can try on. Weekend market cant try. Went crazy shopping again. This time I bought more and Anna and Nerissa still bought alot. Whereas Joanne still bought the least. lol.
(Joanne must've saved alot of $)
Well, I got altogether, 3 t-shirts, 1 grey chibi L shirt for Samantha, 1 pair of shorts, 1 pair of shorts which Nerissa couldn't fit into and had bought, 1 small pouch, 1 pair of sneakers, 1 pair of ruffled skorts which totally looks like a skirt, 1 flower ring, 1 dress.
This may look like alot but is actually quite little okay compared to others.
I think Ai is loving sunglasses after wearing Anna's. Cus she bought a pair of blue aviators to act cool with. and even wore it in the MRT after leaving the airport today.
Ok after the expo we went to this shopping mall (forgot the name) and met up with Pi Earn. She treated us to Japanese cuisine at Fuji Jpnese restaurant which we totally ate our fill. Halfway thru, Ai's other cousin, Pi Pon, met up with us and we started talking abt boyfrens and match-making Ai's brother with Anna. LOL.
Anyway, after eating, went to supermarket to buy some snacks to bring home and bought some dried fruits and crackers like cuttlefish or crispy prawns and crabs to bring home... Wah liao not cheap leh the food...
After that, went back to Ai's home and changed to go out to Tun Ka Cafe which is like the best chinese retaurant in Phuket. Ate well and went back to PACK up to leave. Stuffed our bags like crazy.
TODAY
Well, today morning woke up at 6.30am and went to airport to check-in and have breakfast. Will really miss the time spent there!
Anyway, we made a pact to go to Phuket every year as a grp to stay in touch and shop! (buy one whole year supply of clothes at one go) have to start saving at beginning of year (much easier than wat I did of saving last min for this time's trip) to afford it! :D

Gundam Seed fever all over again.
Ok. I know I'm weird...
After watching some AMVs on youtube on Gundam Seed and GSDestiny... I rewatched Destiny. lol. Cus Gundam Seed VCDs are with YZJ. forgot to get em back...
Well, Gundam Seed is MUCH nicer than GSDestiny. Firstly cus... It's not so much on Shinn (main cha in Destiny) and mre on the other main chas! Plus I hate Shinn... so... yea less screen time for him = GOOD! lol.
And the music for both seasons are nice. lol.
That brings me back to the fact that I got into Jpnese music because of the 1st ending song in Gundam Seed called "Anna ni issho datta no ni" by See-Saw. (Started my fangirling over Yuki Kajiura's works from here as well)
That was like... 2002? Not too sure... lazy to check exact year.
Anyway, I still like Kira and Lacus! lol. Started my poorthing guy like thing from there too... lol.
Well, speaking of gundam seed I have tried watching Gundam Wing and Gundam 00 (newer) BUT still can't take it... Too much fighting... AND most importantly.. the music... is not up to my standard. Too comercial de feeling. sigh.
Many say Gundam 00 is nice but like... can't stand not having gd music in my animes... :(
Also, I like the drama in GS. The I'm a clone, I have a twin, I'm not supposed to be living, Who am I really sorta thing. lol. Drama drama...

St. Margaret's Sec Sch Graduation Prom '09
Today (more of last nite?) was prom. Well rather than prom I'd rather call it graduation dinner. lol.
Firstly, cus there're no guys. 2ndly, it was just dinner and phototaking... lol.
Anyway, wow I'm so amazed at some ppl's dressing lah! Sooo... elaborate. haha. Anyway, I think that like the Sec5s all dress up till they look like much older than us? Like 5 years older kinda feeling. hmmm... why ah? They like only one yr older but look so much older...
Btw quite sad cus prom queen, 1st and 2nd runner up all sec 5s. lol. Sec 4s too shy?
Btw b4 the event, went to Sam's hse. I did makeup myself whereas Sam's mum did makeup for her and Ai. Well, I din really trust her mum to do my face cus her mum keep smiling to herself like donno wat she gonna do to you like that.
Oh funny thing was I actually wanted to go to SASA to do makeup but in the end nva. Then realised YZJ, Michelle and Cas went to SASA at PS to do theirs. lol. YZJ's makeup was super BOOMZ lah. lol. Mine was like suuper natural. Cus used yellow and brown and my skin also quite dark. Never put blush also (I just dont like blush)
Anyway, I'm still hungry after the dinner. Seriously. Wat 8 course like wedding dinner but don feel full de... sigh. Even ate maggi mee b4 hand lah can? -.-
Btw Sam's funny. When she first wore the heels she like cant walk... lol. Then he feet keep wobbling. SO CUTE LAH! Fun to tease her. Then reach the hotel she lean on pillar for support. lol.

Bugis Village
Today evening went to Bugis Village to meet up with mum (I noe its weird...)
Usually I nva meet up with mum to shop. Only during Chinese New Year. And I'm serious. lol.
So yea quite weird feeling.
Then we look look ard bugis village for a cropped jakcet for prom lo. Well, since my mum is indecisive... We stayed there forlike... quite long. She was like... hmmm I think we can find nicer wan. If cant then come back.
So in the end walked through the whole place.
But I've gotta say my mum has an EYE for stuff. Like she walk past then I nva see anything but she will suddenly STOP then say that looks nice. Then walk in. Then I see. lol. Trained auntie skills. lol.
Anyway, THIS IS THE 500th POST! of my blog! yay! post no 500!
yipee!! So congratulations for surviving this long blog! And let's cheers to HOPEFULLY another 500. lol.
